Abstract:

In this presentation the challenges facing one of the VL-e applications are described. For this application an environment has to be created to process data from two experiments. The first is a bio-marker discovery experiment using "high resolution Fourier transform mass spectroscopy (HR-FTMS)". The second is molecular imaging. Both experiments generate large datasets, which needs to be processed. The processing can be done in a simple parallel solution.
